O’Keefe Construction were employed to complete the Demolition (traditional ‘top down’ using mini excavators), and undertake this extremely complex basement reconstruction. Works included demolition, bulk excavation, contiguous piled wall, the design and installation of temporary propping associated with stabilising the exiting retaining walls and foundations whilst excavating to a depth of 19 meters from pavement level. We undertook the construction of new foundations to the existing 1903 facade wall with a combination of mini piles and underpinning along the 115m existing wall.
