Testing Laboratory

Our Laboratory Manager has over 30 years of experience within the testing industries and since joining O'Keefe's has helped develop new processes for stabilisation and remediation together with attending sites to carry out ground investigations, quality control of stabilised works and providing invaluable technical advice. 

Our laboratory, based within our Greenwich Head Office, deals primarily with the testing of materials for use within our stabilised products. We carry out sampling of the source material from site at inception stage and then laboratory suitability tests and classification with trial mixes on lime/cement blends to provide solutions for site requirements. Site material mixing is monitored to ensure correct powder addition and moisture condition, followed by testing of the finished material for density compliance and performance by measurement of CBR or plate loading test characteristics.
